I have had this series sitting on my shelf for awhile and didn't know when I would pick it up. When I was trying to find a book for my subscription box, I decided to pick up After by Anna Todd.
After We Collided is book two in the After series. I finished reading the first book at 3 in the morning and immediately picked up book two!
To read my review on After, book one of the series, check it out here.
Here is what After We Collided is all about.
"Tessa has everything to lose. Hardin has nothing to lose… except her.
After a tumultuous beginning to their relationship, Tessa and Hardin were on the path to making things work. Tessa knew Hardin could be cruel, but when a bombshell revelation is dropped about the origins of their relationship—and Hardin’s mysterious past—Tessa is beside herself.
Hardin will always be… Hardin. But is he really the deep, thoughtful guy Tessa fell madly in love with despite his angry exterior—or has he been a stranger all along? She wishes she could walk away. It’s just not that easy. Not with the memory of passionate nights spent in his arms. His electric touch. His hungry kisses.
Still, Tessa’s not sure she can endure one more broken promise. She put so much on hold for Hardin—school, friends, her mom, a relationship with a guy who really loved her, and now possibly even a promising new career. She needs to move forward with her life.
Hardin knows he made a mistake, possibly the biggest one of his life. He’s not going down without a fight. But can he change? Will he change for love?"

I gave this book 3.5 out of 5 stars and 3 out of 5 Peppers. This is the review I left on Goodreads, Instagram, and Amazon. (To see how I gage my star and pepper rating, you can check out my past blog) https://alisonshanereads.wixsite.com/alisonshanereads/post/how-i-rate-review
"After I finished reading book 1, I immediately grabbed book 2 (at 3:30 in the morning) because I needed to keep reading.
Unfortunately, this one fell short for me. There is only so much back and forth that I can take. It was every other chapter that it was getting old and I was becoming annoyed.
I do like how this book introduced a different perspective. Instead of just Tessa's point of view, this one also brought Hardin's, which helped me understand him better. But by the time we got to the end, I didn't like him anymore."
Please remember that these reviews are based off of my own opinions and my preferences. I always encourage you to read a book for yourself to make your own review. What I might not like, you might love and vis versa.

After We Collided was one of the books I included the January 2024 Books & Bed Subscription Box. To find out more about my Books & Bed Subscription Box, you can check it out here.
Thanks for Reading!
